Hire Charges
Charges are levied from the time the item has been provided to the hirer, as instructed, until the time we are notified that the item is "Off Hire". Hire charges are levied for the time out on hire, not the time the sign is utilized by the client.
Off Hire Numbers
When notifying the owner that the item is finished with and ready for collection, the hirer must obtain an "Off Hire" number. If this is not undertaken the item is deemed to remain on hire. Delivery and Pick Up Costs
Delivery and pick up costs are charged to hirer's account as advised in our hire quote.
Hire Rates
Rates are based on the hire of an item during any 24-hour period. The hirer will be liable for payment of the full hire charge for any hire that extends into the subsequent 24-hour period.
Damage Waiver Insurance
Insurance payable at the rate of 10% of the total hire fee covers damage to an item to the total value of$2000. Any damage above this amount is this responsibility of the hirer, and will be invoiced and paid within 30 days. Theft and total loss of an item shall be the sole responsibility of the hirer.
Non Election of Insurance Cover
In cases where the hirer elects not to take the option of the 10% Damage Waiver Insurance, the hirer shall be responsible for the payment of all costs incurred in relation to damage sustained.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change hire rates at any time. Rates for existing hire contracts will not change without notification to the hirer.
Government Charges
We reserve the right to pass on to the hirer any government taxes, including GST, duties or charges that become applicable during the term of this agreement.
Permits and Requirements
The hirer shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits that may be required in connection with the placement of signs. Permits may be required from local government bodies and road authorities. If during the period of hire, we are asked to remove a sign by any authority, we will comply immediately. Any costs associated with said removal will be passed onto the hirer.
Personal Injury and/or Damage
We take no responsibility whatsoever for any death, injury, loss or damage arising out ofthe use of the item or associated equipment by the hirer.
Payment Terms
All claims for payment are made under the Security of Payments Act. Payment is required before delivery for COD hirers, and 14 days from EOM for account clients. We reserve the right to charge interest at 10 % PA on overdue accounts.
